("NTT TELECON") today signed an agreement to study the introduction of smart water meters and an agreement to conduct demonstration experiments to solve issues in the waterworks business by using smart water meters.

As a new initiative, the city has decided to conduct a demonstration experiment in cooperation with the private sector to study the introduction of smart water meters that perform automatic meter reading.
