Despite increased automobile and semiconductor production, the volume of electric power sold reached 60,395 GWh, a decline of 1.0% YoY. This is due to a reaction to increased electric power sales, following some customers scaling down their private power generation last year.

1 Low voltage electricity (residential customers)

Despite extended meter inspection periods, demand was down 0.3% YoY remaining on the same level as the previous year. This was a result of energy-saving efforts and other factors.

2 High-/extra high-voltage electricity (office building, commercial facility, and factory customers)

Despite increased automobile and semiconductor production, demand was down 1.3% YoY. This was a result of fewer contract demand, and a reaction to increased electric power sales following some customers scaling down their private power generation last year.
